Hykeham Trail
As part of the Ridges & Furrows project heritage trail guides have been developed for Welbourn, Waddington, and North Hykeham. All the walks can be enjoyed by residents, visitors to the villages and walkers along the longer Ridges & Furrows trail.
The heritage guide for North Hykeham was developed by us working with Ridges & Furrows historian Dave Reeves. It describes a narrative along a particular walk taking you to places of interest and sites where things ‘used to be’.
This walk can be enjoyed by residents, visitors to the village and walkers along the longer Ridges & Furrows trail. Hard copies of the trail guide can be picked up from various locations in North Hykeham, or from the National Centre for Craft and Design in Sleaford.
